Mahindra Ev Investment Plans | Ola Move OS Upgrade | Audi Q2 Discontinued

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced an investment of ?10,000 crore in its electric vehicle (EV) business. The investment will be made over a period of seven to eight years and will be used to develop Mahindra's upcoming premium EVs under the Born Electric or VE brand as well as the Inglo EV platform-based electric SUVs under the XUV brand. The company has already received approval from the Maharashtra government under its industrial promotion scheme for EVs. The investment will be used to set up a new development and manufacturing facility dedicated to EVs in Pune. Ola Electric has announced the rollout of Move OS 3 for all its customers next week onwards. Move OS is Ola Electric's operating system and this will be the third update in a span of one year. Move OS 2 was rolled out in August while the announcement for Move OS3 was made during Diwali 2022. The latest over-the-air upgrade adds more than 20 features and comes with a bunch of improvements. Some of the new added features in Move OS 3 include proximity unlock, party mode, moods and compatibility to Ola's hypercharger network. Audi India has silently discontinued the Q2 luxury compact SUV. The model was launched in India as a completely built unit or full import. The SUV is also nearing the end of its life cycle in the global markets and in February the German car maker confirmed discontinuing it once the allocated units were exhausted. The Audi Q2 is underpinned by the Volkswagen group's MQB platform and is powered by the tried and tested 2-liter petrol engine.
